Comment: From the breakfast in the morning to the clean pool with fresh towels, this hotel was the best in the city. Location could not be better with the mall across the street, convention center a little further, riverwalk nearby and then the beds in this place were the best with the pillowtop mattresses. The staff was alway helpful and accomodating. We had the best time at La Quinta. Highly recommended.

Comment: We stayed here while visiting my husband at Fort Sam Houston. This was a great hotel and convenient location. It's next to the mall and is just a couple blocks to the river walk. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. The breakfast staff could have been a little more patient and friendly. The pool area was very nice, but the pool water needed a better filtering system or chemicals....had a film and a few bugs in it. Would definitely stay here again. Parking was a little pricey per day. Valet staff was very nice as well as front desk staff.

Comment: Bar service was terrible, they weren't prepared for the recent convention. Rooms were clean, trains nearby were noisy. Breakfast was good. Didn't use pool or other facilities.
