About Bridgeport
BridgeportIn 1860, Colonel W.H. Hunt and Associates built a toll bridge spanning the Trinity River, mainly for the Butterfield Stagecoach. Thirteen years later a post office was established near the toll bridge giving birth to the town of Bridgeport.
