Comment: Upon arriving in Portland, we received an immediate upgrade, putting us in the HiltonExecutive Tower. Room was appointed very nicely. Although right in the middle of the downtown area, it was so very quiet. Bed was best we have slept in. Room was large, well appointed, All the right touches. Air conditioning ran silently, not banging on and off. My wife and I will go back and stay longer. A real $$$value.

Comment: good: Friendly staff, nice looking place, central location. Bad: Small rooms, they charge for internet, parking, Beds are too soft for my tates.

Comment: The front desk staff was great - very helpful. However, the description doesn't mention that the fitness center is an additional $10 per day and the high speed internet is an additional $10 per day. The fitness center charge seemed gratuitous. Also, the ventilation system could use some work. When I turned on the heating system in the morning it triggered a massive allergy attack for me. Otherwise, the location was great, and the room was super quiet, which is a wonderful thing, as some hotels can be noisy.

Comment: We had a nice time here, with the exception of the room service. They were unorganized, late, and we were missing some of our meals. They offered to comp the meal, but it came with our package so we had already paid. Our experience at the restaurant was much better--skip the room service and head to the restaurant.

Comment: We really wanted to be in downtown Portland this visit to see friends. The staff is not very friendly, sometimes standoffish. We had a problem with cold eggs, and our server said she would take care of it. But that was it. Nothing was done. We expected more. The whole breakfast did not even pretend to be warm Very disappointed in the cold breakfast and the lack of follow through when we told the server.

Comment: The commode would not flush all night. The Hilton mechanics tried to fix twice. There was urine/refuse on the floor. Currently The Hilton is arguing over reimbursing me.
