Gladstone is located in Clackamas County,, 12 minutes south of Portland, near neighboring cities Oregon City and West Linn off of I-205. Few cities offer the benefits of proximity to the employment, shopping, services, and cultural amenities of a large metropolitan area, combined with the advantages of a comfortable, secure community. Located only 15 minutes from Portland International Airport, Gladstone is unique in the region with its friendly, small-town setting, low crime, and an excellent school system. Gladstone has a population of about 11,000 in an area of four square miles. The city is almost fully developed with a number of attractive neighborhoods and excellent local parks. Relatively short commuting times and a wide choice of housing make the city a popular and convenient place to live.
