Hobbs tourist information
Hobbs, in Lea County, is located in the heart of the southwest. Today agricultural continues to have underlying influences on development with an active dairy industry as well as farming and ranching. The oil and gas industries also have a strong effect on the local economy, as does a growing manufacturing sector. A number of projects are currently under development to diversify the economy and provide jobs and attract people to this southeastern New Mexico community.
