Comment: I am from OK. and we have a small trucking. Our co. does show jobs in Las Vegas 2 sometimes 3 times a year, and over the last 10 years we have stayed at many places in Vegas. Some of the casinos are very nice, but the El Cortez tops them all in the way we are treated.The rooms in the Tower are extremely nice. We will continue from now on to go to the El Cortez. You guys are the best!!!!!!

Comment: I have been here many times in the past and this place gets better each year. Lets face the facts you're not in your room very long and theirs are very nice now!! Smokey in Casino itself but better than years in the past.

Comment: The ElCortez was a great place to stay! When we first pulled up, we were a little leery about the quality, but once you got inside (and to your room, the casino seemed old, but that wasn't bad) you'll be thankful you stayed! We had a rental car, so we did not have to worry about the public transportation. The buffets were kinda nasty, and we didnt try the resturants, but everything else was super! I heard so many comments from fellow conference attendees about their hotel rooms, and I was so thankful we stayed here! We will be coming back in the future!

Comment: The hotel is old, but it was pretty clean. We have stayed on the strip and we would definetly stay here again. It was well worth it to save money here and then take the bus to the strip. They have good coupons, good food, and the gambling odds were better here than on the strip. DON'T go east at night, scary that way!!

Comment: The location of the hotel was off the main strip. It was more beautiful than the hotels on the strip!! We had an awesome view of the city from the floor we stayed on.

Comment: This hotel is our favorite in Las Vegas. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a love seat sitting area. The restaurants have delicious food and the slots are the best paying in town. It's not fancy like the strip hotels, no spa, or pool but for the price, it's a real bargan. Plus it's only one block the the Freemont Street Experience. They have a huge parking garage and lots of security so we feel safe anytime night or day.

Comment: good location in regards to Fremont Street. Hotel room was supprisingly nice for the price. Casino was typical for an Old Vegas casino (lower quality...smokey)

Comment: I stayed in a non-smoking Pavilion room - less expensive than the Tower, more expensive than the Vintage. Small room, but very clean, with two comfy queen beds. Tiny bathroom, but it has a shower/tub. If you're using the room primarily to sleep and shower in, I don't know of a better bargain around Fremont St. The casino is a bit smoky. They've got a policeman/guard posted at the corner outside after dark. I did not feel unsafe walking to and from the downtown casino area one block away, which is what I came for anyway.

Comment: If your a savvy gambler who is coming to LV for cheap table stakes and good odds, this is the place to stay. If you want the glitch and oppulence of LV, then find another place on the strip.

Comment: The room was excellent with double queen size beds and spacious. Only downside to the visit was the roulette casino staff. They had two per table and they had a habit of holding a conversation in their native language while ignoring the customer. So I visited the Plaza casino.

Comment: El Cortez has a great location close to Fremont street, large rooms, and very clean. The non-tower section has no elevator, so you need to somehow get your luggage up and down the stairs. Their fun book had good deals as well. This hotel is an excellent value.

Comment: The price of the hotel was great; the room was clean; and, the staff was friendly. But... the gamblers at the El Cortez were a little shady and some of the dealers could barely count. Also, it?s about a two block walk to the Fremont Experience and the area does not feel safe ? nothing happened, but I wouldn?t walk alone, even during the day.
