Westmont offers many opportunities for recreation and leisure. The community is proud of the newest addition, Ty Warner Park, named in honor of the famous Beanie Baby toymaker. This 36 acre park will be a highlight of your visit any season of the year!
Westmont is also noted for the number of festivals and events it hosts throughout the year drawing many visitors and area residents.
May 31 is the beginning of Westmont Main Street Cruisin' Nights. During the month of June, the Westmont Park District presents the Concerts in the Park series, featuring weekly performances by musical groups with styles ranging from big band to polka and blues. The sky will come alive with fireworks during the second annual 4th of July Celebration in Ty Warner Park. One of the most popular events is the Taste of Westmont, a three-day festival of music, food and fun held hosted by Main Street each July. Westmont Summerfest is a weekend festival held each August offering a neighborhood festival and the 5th annual car show. The grand finale is the Holly Days Winter Festival. A month-long celebration, commencing the day after Thanksgiving, welcomes in the magic of the holiday season. Experience a sparkling wonderland of animated light displays, a dazzling tree walk, the Frosty and Friends Parade and many other family events.
