Honolulu's only AAA 5- Diamond hotel, the Halekulani is situated on 5 acres of prime Waikiki beachfront. An oasis of tranquility with its elegant interiors, lush gardens and award winning cuisine with a picturesque view of Diamond Head. The Orchid oceanside swimming pool is stunningly decorated with 12.5 million hand-laid mosaic tiles. The hotel was originally established as a resort in 1917. Renovated in 1983, Halekulani continues the tradition of welcome and hospitality. An oasis of tranquility in the heart of Waikiki. Halekulani is a modern hotel that has retained much of its original 1930's character. The hotel consists of five buildings connected by serene courtyards and gardens. Located on Waikiki Beach and an easy walk to the Waikiki shopping district. Downtown Honolulu is 20 minutes away and Diamond Head is 10 minutes. NAME CHANGE POLICY All reservations are non-transferable. Name changes will be accepted as a cancellation, and may be re-booked under the new name, based on space availability. FREESALE POLICY Freesell status is applicable only up to 72 hours prior to arrival. All reservations within 72 hours prior to arrival are based on space availability and must be requested directly with the hotel's reservation department.
