Comment: After car problems caused us to arrive after midnight, we feared being assigned to the worst of available rooms. Instead, we were upgraded to a lovely ocean view suite with a balcony! All aspects of the hotel and our stay there were outstanding. When we returned from a fishing trip with a nice catch of fish, the restaurant chef did a great job of cooking them up for our dinner meal! The location is mercifully remote from the bustle of Duval Street, yet only a shuttle ride away when that's your choice. We hated to leave, and can't wait to return to this very special hotel.

Comment: I didn't know how nice the Sheraton would be but I was so surprised when I got there. It was an absolutely amazing hotel with a beautiful pool, bar, resteraunt, and a great cleaning service. It is right across the street from Smathers beach, which is pretty nice, and the Sheraton also has a convienent shuttle bus that takes you to and from Duval St. I deff. recommend taking a vacation in Key West and staying at Sheraton Suites.

Comment: I was very surprised with the Sheraton Hotel. The suite style rooms has a lot of space, large bathrooms etc. The shuttle to downtow was free and always on time. There is also a free shuttle to the airport! A beautiful beach is across the street, very easy to get to. We had a wonderful time at the Sheraton in Key West. It was far enough away from downtown so it was easy to relax during the day, and then the free shuttle puts you right in the middle of the nightlife on Duval Street. Great Time!

Comment: Loved staying here. Already looking to book same place for next year. The shuttle was a great asset but very small. People tried to cut those waiting for awhile off. I was assured they've ordered a bigger shuttle. Other than that, room is nice, pool is great, drinks are expensive at bar - more expensive than downtown. Drink during Happy Hour- they're cheaper. Nice location, not noisy, right across from Smathers. I would recommend.

Comment: My friend and sister-in-law and I, decided to go on our first annual beach trip to Key West. We had such a wonderful time, Gary's Dolphin Watch and Snorkle being top notch, with the combined comfort and ease of the Sheraton, we didn't want to leave. The staff is wonderful, booking tours and getting free transportation was a breeze, the grounds are adorable and the beach-house feel was so relaxing. The waterfall by the pool was so soothing to listen to. We will definitely stay again. Oh, and the room was quite good with the most comfortable beds and pillows!

Comment: Very nice place and the grounds are well kept! Lots of extras and excellent service! Excellent staff and shuttle drivers and pool staff!!! Very helpful! Would love to try the ocean front with balcony!

Comment: very pleased with the room, great bed with lots of pillows, pool and jaccuzzi nice, great jetted tub. Everything was wonderful except had trouble finding an outlet to plug in our electric gulf cart at night and distance to downtown key west. We will come back though!

Comment: We loved the hotel and the rooms were very comfortable with extremely comfortable beds. The pool was relaxing and beautiful and we especially enjoyed the pool side bar and the extremely friendly staff. The entire hotel staff was first class. We did not rent a car and the shuttle worked great to satisfy all of our needs. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Key West.

Comment: You want to "feel" Key West? Stay here! Beautiful, Clean and Happy Staff. I brought my dog and she was met with hello's and pat's on the head. Comfy Bed's, Quiet Rooms and surroundings. 2 feet from the beach....this is a must stay destination. Worth every penny!

Comment: although the rooms were nice some of the hotel was still being repaired from the hurricanes. the shuttle to duval street was ALWAYS overcrowded so we ended up taking cabs most of the time which got quite expensive.

Comment: had a nice 4 nite stay all friendly staff lots of help w/stuff to do rented bike for day booked ghost tour at hotel location on sunny beach side of island no commercial type of places like mcdonalds etc. nearby biking or scooters are the right transportation will stay here again

Comment: I thought the Sheration was a great place to stay. Wonderful location right across the street from Smathers Beach. The dining room needs some improvement. We had dinner there one night and the fish was terrible. Not good food, but wonderful place to stay if you eat somewhere else.

Comment: My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel was nice but the housekeeping was lacking. We had to ask for towels at 800 at night because we weren't left any. The next day we left the room at 1000 in the morning and came back at 430 to find our room still had not had maid service. We left the room for a couple of hours and when we came back the room had hurriedly been gone over. The next morning the maid was knocking on the door at 830 wanting to come in. The shuttle service is great! Staff very friendly.

Comment: Nice resort, especially rooms Big tile showers, comfortable bed and two nice TV`s. (But lots of pay stuff on TV, even music was pay) Robes provided on request. Restaraunt 8 to 30 dollar range (A+ Food). Bar drinks are 7 bucks a pop. A shuttle runs every 30 min. Key west beaches are covered with seaweed and really smell bad at low tide, but you couldnt smell it at the pool.

Comment: We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, very nice pool area, great beds. Across street from Smathers Beach. Would highly recommend dining at Chico's Cantina on Stock Island. Great mexican food, great service & very clean. Affordable

Comment: Due to last year's hurricane, the hotel was under construction. We were given a room that reeked of fresh paint. We asked to be changed to another room and were given another room reeking of paint, enough to give you a headache. The manager would not speak with us when we requested an upgrade to a room that did not smell. We were offered a machine that removes smells and that was it. The beds are indeed comfortable, but be ready for crowded shuttle service.

Comment: This hotel was big rooms but it was difficult to get extra towels or anything. For the money, there is no comp. breakfast and the exterior of the hotel is falling off. If you need assistance walking do not stay here. It is difficult to find your room and you need to walk up the outside stairs to get there.

Comment: Upon check-in, I was told there were no non-smoking rooms, which we had asked for. After arguing with the front desk for 15 minutes, they agreed to move us the next day and gave us $75 worth of vouchers. But I pointed out that I would waste the whole day waiting to move. All of a sudden they found a non-smoking room. Noise is a problem; there are workers at 8 am and some very weak floorboards. Shuttle almost always packed with people. Got a 4:30 am wake-up call that we didn't ask for. Hotel is clean; rooms big; grounds pretty. Excellent concierge-always willing to help with great advice.

Comment: Hotel had a major water pipe burst before we checked in and we were not advised of problem when we checked in. We were without water for most of the first day of our visit. Hotel misadvertised their hotel's happy hour at bar and in both situations offered nothing but a token apology and no consideration for our inconvenience. Bartender and front desk employees were both rude to our concerns and hotel manager never answered an email complaint I sent upon my return.
