Comment: We spent the July 4th holiday at The Reach and had a blast! The staff was amazing, which suprised me after reading some of the negative reviews. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that you can order drinks at the pool bar and they'll even bring them out to you on the beach. I would definately recommend this hotel and will definately stay there again!

Comment: Hi, I was going to call and complain, but i haven't been in a negative mood. But since you asked I will. The hotel's staff are wonderful. No one said this hotel was under renovation. We had to sit at the pool and listen to saws and jack hammers all day. The wet bar did not work, had to buy a cooler. It was clean, that is about it. Also the hotel restaurant was closed. They could have discounted the rates. I hardly think it was worth the money we spent to stay there. The only thing that was stable and copperative was the weather.

Comment: I really was not interested in the beach, so I guess that if I had know how close it was to the beach I would not have booked this hotel. The room was ok not what I expected, the bathroom door was fility, it needs to be either cleaned up or replaced, I felt funny when I took my shower because it was so dirty. The table was lopsided every time I started to eat the table would move up and down. Like I said I really think it was over priced.

Comment: If you want a clean hotel this is the one. If you want service and a resort feel, this is not the one for you. First and foremost, there should always be a coffee pot in a hotel room. There were a couple of people who gladly made sure you enjoyed your visit. There were others who absolutely did not. There is alot of potential for this hotel and they should really work on making it top notch.

Comment: This hotel is old and needs major updating. The room was dirty with mold in the bathroom. The elevator leaked when it was raining so bad that we put up our umbrellas inside the elevator. The front desk staff indicated that the hotel had not made any repairs in some time since it is about to undergo a major refurbishment. You could do better elsewhere.

Comment: We have stayed at the Reach before & it was nice --- not now!!! We were not told about the extensive construction & it was a mess! I would not recommend this hotel until construction is done. There were only a handful of patrons there & we soon found out why!

Comment: Hotel is in need of repair and upgrade in building and staff attitude! Dirty rooms, no service, worthless fitness center, and fitures that are falling apart. Save your money and stay elsewhere while in KW

Comment: I was very disappointed with the room. It was nothing like it showed on the web site. It was very worn. A $10 charge for refrigerator and $10 a day parking. Would not recommend to any of my friends. The best part of our stay was making new friends.

Comment: rooms had bugs. shower had cold water pool area was noisy with trackers in use. Neighbor dogs barked all day on beach.Nothing you can do about that.Free buffet breakfast was advertised on the ad.Had to pay top dollar for breakfast one day and did not return thereafter.Surprised by the bill.

Comment: The only thing hotter than the room was the contents of the mini-bar. There was no microwave or coffee pot in the "Suite". At $*/plus per night, you can find much better in Key West, FL

Comment: WAAAAY over-priced for what you are getting. There is much better in Key West for less money. Nothing special about the rooms. No coffee pot. $10/day extra for a small refrigerator. Price should be half of what it is.
