Comment: After reading unfavorable reviews, I tried to cancel. But we stayed there and actually thought it was nice. The staff, which we heard was rude, was actually very polite and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful fragrance. Complaint? the distance to main town, (though not that far) and location is busy junction for entering and leaving the island.They've made lots of improvements and it's paying off. There were heavy rains while there, so had standing water on the parking lots, but Key West has serious drainage issues. Overall, quite pleased, satisfied

Comment: The room was just so-so, but met our needs. Bare minimum cleaning of the room. The Tiki bar was closed. Sadly it was something we were looking forward to for the end of our days adventures.

Comment: Not enough hot water. Walls so thin we could clearly hear the TV in the next room. Our TV had a poor picture quality. A few ants around the sink. We reserved a king size bed, but got 2 doubles, perhaps because the hotel was booked solid. If we were paying $60 a night, I wouldn't mind so much, but at $*, a very poor value. It's the worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in.

Comment: Very noisy, construction at our door. Room dirty. Food ridiculously over priced. Waited 40 minutes for 3 cold pancakes and 2 cold pieces of bacon, served by a waitress who was drunk at 7:00 AM. Only stayed one night.

Comment: We stayed at this hotel upon arriving in Key West until we could check into our condo. This hotel is right on the road right at the intersection where Rt 1 enters the Key. The traffic and motorcycles were screaming through the intersection until 4 in the morning. The rooms are dirty and not noise resistant at all. There are much better hotels in the area for about the same price. Choose wisely. Thank God our stay was only for one night.
