Comment: Great hotel, friendly employees, good breakfast, good value. Bathroom is a wee bit small, but is adequate and is a nice one at that. Location is excellent for Fisherman's Wharf activities.

Comment: Staff friendly & helpful. No conceirce svc. tho. Very nice overall-new in past 4-5 yrs. 2 double beds made for a nice sized room which was not cramped altho I travel alone & could tolerate a much smaller room . Room & bathroom VERY clean. In room safe-NICE! Convenient location for all "touristy" agendas. Meat on the brkfst menu would be nice to complete it. The brkfst buffet saves having to buy that meal every AM but the same menu gets tiring after 2 days altho all of the food was tasty and fresh, incl. the fruit. A meat item would be nice though. Rec. to anyone to stay here.

Comment: The hotel was clean and quiet, as well as very close to the wharf and public transportation. A vending machine with OTC medications would have been better than walking 3 blocks to 7/11. Also, bring your own postcard stamps (.24) they only have regular (.39) so we bought at pharmacy nearby, but had to buy 10 when we only needed 5. Gym only had treadmills and bikes.

Comment: The location was fabulous; you're within walking distance of everything. Also, the rooms were tidy and clean; however, small. The hotel staff was always helpful with recommendations. I wish the breakfast was better -- it was good, but so repetative after 7 days! No hot foods available.

Comment: We spent 3 days and 2 nights and loved it. The location was close to Fisherman's Wharf and trolley cars. After staying in the Union Square area, the Holiday Inn Express rooms were spacious. The hotel staff was friendly and made the stay pleasant.

Comment: We stayed at this hotel for two nights - the first because the price was right, and the second because the customer service was impeccable. Very clean, very nicely appointed, near Fisherman's Wharf, extremely helpful, professional staff, nice fitness room, free breakfast with great coffee! Ask for an "inside" room to avoid a.m. city noise.

Comment: The worst thing about this hotel is the beds are hard and the gym has only cardio equipment. Everything else is great. This is one of the best hotels in San Francisco.

Comment: This hotel is 2 short blocks from the wharf, 2 to the cable cars, and 3 to Ghirardelli square. The hotel is very clean, the room are large, modern and clean. The staff was very nice. Valet parking for $32 per day. The best aspect was the continental breakfast-fantastic. A huge variety of food kept well stocked in an area with many tables so seating isn't a problem. It easily saved our family of 5 $50 per day in food. Worst aspect - street noise. Ask for a room up high or on the inside courtyard to avoid the constant trucks, sirens and the 5:30 a.m. garbage collection.

Comment: This hotel was nice except the beds are way to hard, and for the price that you pay you should at least have a comfortable bed, after all thats what you are there for. Also the is no little store which is very inconvenient.
