Comment: The management and staff at this hotel treat you like their family.My mother was in the hospital and they took care of everything. They helped us so much and even sent flowers.The hotel is clean, great location(close to shopping, bart and muni), there are homeless but that is everywhere. This hotel will take care of you.

Comment: Never had been to San Francisco and was pleased to be so close to all landmarks. This hotel is block away from China Town, a short walk (about 15 min.) to heart of financial district, and a short bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf. Unlike other travelers we ventured out at night and did not feel unsafe at all.

Comment: Only there for one night, but very good value. Best rooms on the 12 & 14 floors; good location; ordered a burger & fries from room service and food was great...much better than average hotel food.

Comment: This is a nice, older hotel in a pretty bad part of town. 6th and Market, 2 blocks from this hotel, is known for all the homeless people. I walked from the hotel to the Moscone Center (less than 1 mile) every day for a week and was hit up for money at least 5 times every trip. The hotel is nice, the service is excellent. So just know what you're getting into when you stay there.

Comment: The Civic Center area of San Francisco is a mecca for homeless people and street folk who provide local color as you enter and leave the hotel area.

Comment: Facility is in dire need of a renovation. Bathrooms were small. Housekeeping is NOT 24 hours but service was satisfactory. Bell service and front desk were on point and helpful. Location is on 8th between Market and Mission which is a bad area to walk around..lots of homeless.
