Comment: Good place to stay - convenient to many attractions, especially Old Town San Diego and San Diego Trolley. Free breakfast is EXCELLENT! Not just donuts and coffee, but eggs, pancakes, toast, muffins, cereal, milk and juices.Only problem was malfunctioning air conditioner the first night - fixed next day. Would stay again.

Comment: The guest rooms are new with granite vanities, plush carpet, and plush comforters. The courtesy drivers were excellent and courteous. The outside of the building could use a little update and the breakfast area could use more selection, but it is hot. The pool and hot tub are small, but adequate. If we return to San Diego, we will be staying here.

Comment: You may not get what you expect. We had three adults in our party, so asked for two beds. Were told we?d get two rooms, one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. Thought we were getting two bedrooms. Instead got one bedroom with a king bed, and the main room had a small sofa sleeper. The third adult in our group had to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom! Reservations clerk said it?s their ?policy? to call the sofa sleeper a queen bed!! Reservations also said all rooms are nonsmoking; not the case.

Comment: I stay in San Diego a lot and this was my worst experience with a hotel in this city. The room smelled horrible, they refused to move us despite having extra rooms, and ultimately refused to give us a price decrease. There was mold in the bathroom, and when I arrived home everything I owned smelled like mold. Please avoid this hotel! Needs Improvement: Just about everything

Comment: We upgraded to a king suite room. That had balcony, king size bed, and separate room with a couch. That room smelled so bad we couldn't use it, the light didn't work, there was an old towel hanging on the bathroom door, a beer can on the balcony, and a thawed out pizza in the freezer (that was turned off). When we brought it to their attention, we thought things we get fixed. The next day, the smell was still there and the light still didn't work. They moved us into another room and the cable on both televisions didn't work. The jacks were broken.

Comment: We were quoted a price.... paid the price..... and upon check out were asked to pay an extra amount which was more than double of what we were quoted. and more money than what we were form was charged to our card. tried to contacting management several times, was told to call back and still no response from her. the staff was rude and promise untrue things. never stay at this hotel.
