Welcome to the Tanfous in Hammamet - Right on the golden sand beach of Hammamet, surrounded by spacious palmtree-lined gardens. 7 km away from the Hotel Tanfous is Hammamet , a small fishing town. A 15th-century castle, rising right out of the ocean, towers above the town. The small old part of Hammamet has about 3000 inhabitants and is entirely encircled by the city wall, which as well has been built in the 15th century. The castle offers a marvellous view of the white houses of the town, of the picturesque fishing harbour with its traditional colorful wooden boats in the forground and the foothills of the Atlasmontains on the horizon
