These spectacular falls are actually in Zimbabwe, not in Botswana, but they are very near Botswana's northeast corner. Travelers going into the Okavango Delta often change planes in the town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (it's also close to Chobe National Park). The falls are one of Africa's foremost attractions and well worth the extra day required to see their magnificent cascades. 455 mi/730 km north of Gaborone.
