San Clemente Del Tuyu Tourist Information

San Clemente del Tuyú is the first city of the Coast District in Buenos Aires Province. Since it is the first seaside resort watered by Mar Argentino, in the north it is the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and De La Plata River.( River Plate) It is located 292 km away from Capital Federal and you can get to it through Nº 36 National Route that links forward with Nº 11 Provincial Route in "the corner of Croto" going past Pipinas Town. It is a seaside resort par excellence being the main attraction its soft and peaceful beaches with soft sand and slight dune undulations which are surrounded by areas with thick forests. The climate is cool and nice with an average temperature of 24º C in Summer, being the maximum registered temperature 33º C when soft humid winds from the sea do not blow. Sea currents keep the water slightly mild and there are no abundant rains here. The city has an architecture combining buildings with some floors and beautiful chalés together with the excellence and comfort of modern hotels that offer high quality services and its people's hospitality. Among the most imporatant attractions you can find: " Mundo Marino" ( Sea World) which is the biggest ocean resort of South America. It started as an entertainment touristic resort to transmit, investigate and show the wonderful beings that inhabit the ocean such as dolphins, orcs, sea wolves and penguins by means of educating, entertaining and lavishing joy to grown-ups and kids in an area of 17 hectares. Punta Rasa is an ideal place to fish black corvina and has charming landscapes and unique sunsets, the ideal place to enjoy birdwatching since thousands of migratory birds come from the northern hemisphere to stop by every year. Bahía Aventura is a Thematic Park that is located in the area of San Antonio lighthouse where you can enjoy activities to observe nature in excursions led by expert guides. Cosme Argerich Greenhouse is a park that offers all the facilities to spend the day in the outdoors with a thick wood and nice tracks that provide you with healthy experiences. Apart from all the activities that you can do in the coast such as windsurfing, jet skiing or motor boat excursions, you can also come across old shipwrecks that are typical in this place.
