Ristinge Tourist Information
If, when you are in Humble, you drive west towards the sea and continue as far as you can, you will come to Ristinge. The village is a small community with its own church and Langelands smallest, and perhaps most cosy harbour. You feel that time has stood still here. It is possible to buy freshly caught fish here from the local fishermen if you get up early. During the summer, the number of residents increases dramatically. This is because Ristinge has one of Denmark's best beaches - nearly 10 km long, relatively shallow and with a sandy bed. It is the ideal bathing beach for families with children. There is also a 30 metre high and 2 km long cliff on the south side of Ristinge peninsula. A system of paths makes it possible to wander along the cliff and enjoy the fantastic view over the South Funen Archipelago - the best view being from the stone dolmen which is found at the cliff's highest point.
