North Norfolk Manitoba Tourist Information
The Rural Municipality of North Norforlk is located in central Manitoba. North Norfolk is easily accessible by the Trans Canada Highway, which runs right through the municipality. Provincial Trunk Highway 34 and Provincial Roads 242, 350 and 352 also service the municipality.
The Village of Macgregor, located just off of the Trans Canada Highway, is the largest urban centre in North Norfolk. The communities of Austin, Sydney, Bagot and Rossendale are other larger communities in North Norforlk.
The municipality is situated in the rich agricultural fields of Manitoba's Central Plains Region.
The Sprucewoods Provincial Park, located just west of North Norfolk along the Trans Canada Highway, is an excellent place for camping, hiking and cross-country skiing. Nature lovers will find this wooded oasis on the prairies rich in wildlife and scenic beauty.
While visiting North Norfolk and its many communities, make sure to drop by during the Thresherman's Reunion and Stampede during the 3rd week in July. Hosted at the Austin Agricultural Museum, this popular event draws visitors from all parts of the province. The Reunion features many fun events for both young and old.
