Mar De Las Pampas Tourist Information

Made up of thick woods and wide lonely sandy beaches, Mar de las Pampas is located in the backwater of the Atlantic Coast where the tourist can enjoy peaceful moments in harmony with nature. Located on the verge of the Argentinean Sea, only 8 kilometers away from Villa Gesell , this enchanted place is immersed in a silence that is only interrupted by the roar of the sea or the wind that whips pine trees, acacias, eucaliptus or cypresses planted by men. To get to this inhospitable region , you can take a flight to Villa Gessell airport and then take the intercoastal route until destination. This little city is made up of picturesque chalés, cottages and low apartment buildings that fade into the landscape and due to the unusual features one can infer that the city will grow in the near future. The climate is temperate with nice temperatures in the Summer registering maximum temperatures of 33º C and an annual average temperature of 22º C. Winter is cold and windy registering temperatures that go from 2º C to 17º C. Activities such as horse riding, sulky excursions, cycling, hicking and sandboarding contribute to spend the beach days joyfully. In the water, water sports like windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding or swimming are the chosen at the time of refreshing.
