Macgregor Manitoba Tourist Information

Incorporated in 1948, the Village of MacGregor is situated along the four-lane Trans-Canada highway appproximately 121 km west of Winnipeg and 92 km east of Brandon. The community is currently home to a population of approximately 900 people. MacGregor, "the heart of the Keystone province," is proud of its heritage. European settlement of the area dates back to 1881.

Visitors to MacGregor can enjoy a wide range of sporting and recreational activities. The Nor-Mac Centre is the hub of activity throughout the seasons. In the summer the ball diamonds at the Centre are home to many exciting tournaments and baseball games.

A fully irrigated 9-hole golf course also awaits any golfing enthusiast stopping by in MacGregor.

The winter months also see a hive of activity around hockey, skating and curling. During the winter months, the Nor-Mac Centre is the site for minor and intermediate hockey. The centre is also home to skating clubs and curlers of all ages.

The annual Agricultural Fair is also held in the Nor-Mac Centre during the month of June.
