Lawrence Manitoba Tourist Information

The Rural Municipality of Lawrence is located in the northern portion of western Manitoba. The municipality sits snugly against the southern shores of Lake Manitoba, and the northern shores of Lake Dauphin.

Lawrence is located along Provincial Road 276, which runs right through the municipality from north to south. The municipality is approximately 213 kilometres northeast of Manitoba's second largest city, Brandon. Provincial Roads 364 and 481 also service the municipality. The community of Rorketon is the largest centre in Lawrence. The municipality was incorporated in 1914.

The beautiful Manipogo Beach and Provincial Park located near the municipality, offers camping and fishing along Manitoba's second largest lake, Lake Manitoba. Far distant from the more popular and used beaches on Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg, Manipogo Beach is a nice and serene spot to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding region.
