Komsomolsk Na Amure Tourist Information

Komsomolsk-na-Amure is the largest city of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM). The city was established in 1932 to strengthen the Soviet’s Far Eastern defences. Later it became the site for steel-works, a secret aircraft factory and huge shipbuilding yards.
