Kivu
Kivu is the floret of tourism congolais. In this area the National park extends from Virunga which is the oldest park of the democratic Republic of Congo and fact part of the world inheritance; Created in 1925, it extends on 800.000 hectares. Its fauna is varied and wild; one counts there to 25.000 hippopotames, of many lions, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, leopards, hyenes, phacochères... This park also includes/understands the lake Idi Amin and its fisheries, in particular that of the village of Vitshumbi where one can taste the tilapia with sauce "mostiko", famous local fish.
