Joutseno Tourist Information

Joutseno is located in the centre of South Karelia, on the shore of Lake Saimaa, halfway between Imatra and Lappeenranta. Travel Centre Annukka with its reasonably priced factory outlets is an attraction to many visitors. Main attractions in the summer: Local History Museum, Joutseno Church and South Karelian Motor Museum.

Korpikeidas is a fishing place with a guaranteed catch. You can take your freshly caught fish with you or have it smoked. A domestic animal park with over 100 animals is an excellent destination for family trips. Angling all year round, May - Aug 10am to 8pm, at other times 10am to 6 pm. Domestic animal park only in summer.

Myllymäki Skiing Slopes offer an excellent setting for all sorts of outdoor activities in winter with 5 illuminated slopes, 5 lifts, slope and slide for children, half-pipe, cross-country skiing tracks, café and other services.

The Joutseno Art Summer offers numerous concerts and public lectures. Ahola Youth Association presents summer theatre performances. The Joutseno Festival takes place in August.
