Donalda Alberta Tourist Information
At the edge of a coulee (river valley) overlooking Meeting Creek is the village of Donalda. Home to the World’s Largest Lamp, which opened in summer 2000, the village maintains a unique Lamp Museum that attracts visitors from across the world. A village with an economic base of agriculture, the community is active in both the arts and sports. The name comes from Donalda Crossway, niece of Sir Donald Mann, vice-president of the Canadian Northern Railway.
