Dobropoljana Tourist Information

A picturesque village, suitable for peaceful and pleasant vacations, is well-known because of its quality gastronomic offer.

DOBROPOLJANA, a village in the cove of the same name in the north-eastern part of the island of Pasman, below the island's highest peak (Bokolj, 274 m); population 402. Chief occupations are farming, viticulture, olive growing, fishing and seafaring. The small harbour is well protected from southerly and westerly winds; a breakwater provides good shelters for smaller yachts. Dobropoljana was first mentioned in 1270. It was more intensively populated in the 17th century by the fugitives from the hinterland of Zadar.
