This small village with the valuable sacral heritage has also very attractive surroundings. In the immediate vicinity of Desinic is the late mediaeval castle Veliki Tabor.
DESINIC, a village in the region of Hrvatsko Zagorje, 8 km west of Pregrada; elevation 219 m; population 366. Economy is based on farming, textile industry and production of insulating material. Desinic is located on the regional road Krapina - Pregrada - state border.
