Crupet tourist information
Crupet Belgium
Crupet has been continuously inhabited since the end of prehistoric times.
This charming little village perched on the hillsides of a narrow wooded valley, has retained numerous dwellings and small farmhouses made of sandstone or whitewashed limestone from the XVIIth, XVIIth and XIXth centuries.
Lapped by the river Crupet, the principal affluent of the river Bocq, the village has benefited from its waterways which endowed it with a flourishing industry, which is indicated by the five windmills, a paper mill, saltworks, an oil-mill, a forge and a brewery.
