Cremona Alberta Tourist Information

This "Village With Promise", was named for the Violin Village in Italy and had its beginnings when a post office was opened in 1906. Located at the intersection of Highway 22 and Secondary Highway 580, this mixed farming community has become a scenic by-pass route for holiday traffic. The area to the west of the village consists of hilly terrain covered with spruce and pine. The waters of the Little Red Deer River run through the area, providing residents and visitors with recreation sites for camping, fishing and hiking.
