Cigoc Tourist Information
An excursion destination in Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, famous for well preserved old Posavina-style wooden houses, with a great number of storks' nests on top of them. Therefore the European Natural Heritage Foundation "Euronatur" has designated Cigoc "the European Stork Village".
CIGOC, a village in the Lonjsko Polje field, 25 km southeast of Sisak; elevation 109 m; population 127. Chief occupations are farming, livestock breeding and tourism. Cigoc is located on the regional road.
