Caraiva Tourist Information
Caraiva
Caraíva has the necessary and indispensable conditions for ecoturism. The village is located in the mouth of Caraíva river, far from modern civilization, being limited only by the sea, the river and Monte Pascoal National Park. The power comes from the sun or a generator and the only means of transportation are the boats (there are no cars). The difficulty to get to the village - a former Pataxó Indian tribe - helps to preserve its nature and to turn it to an even more charming place.
In Caraívas, you will walk on foot through narrow sandy streets. Although the village seems to be rustic, there's a great infrastructure for those who are looking for beauty and peacefulness. The hotels offer comfort and whatever is necessary to a pleasant stay, what makes the destiny the favorite of tourists who want relax.
