Bowden Alberta Tourist Information
The town of Bowden is strategically located on Highway 2 just south of Red Deer. Surrounded by some of the most fertile land in Alberta, Bowden is an agricultural service centre for a market area of some 17,000 people. Bowden has many amenities that make the town special including several parks and recreation areas, and easy access to larger urban centers such as Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton. The town was established with a post office in 1892.
