Bosiljevo Tourist Information

The most valuable sight is the attractive Frankopan castle with a park. Soon it should be converted into a small hotel. The surrounding forests and closeness to big rivers such as the Kupa and the Dobra provide very good opportunities for hunting, angling, walking, bathing, etc. Rafting on the Dobra river is especially popular.

BOSILJEVO, a village in the region of Pokuplje, 24 km southwest of Duga Resa; elevation 190 m; population 114. In the 19th century called Popovci Bosiljevo. First mentioned in 1334 as the parish seat. Economy is based on farming. Bosiljevo lies on the regional road which branches off from the main road (M12) Karlovac - Rijeka.
