The City offers 10 railway stations along two railway lines for commuters as well as regional transport interchange facilities at Blacktown and Mount Druitt.
The City is part of the M4 and M2 road networks, and will soon (2007) be joined to additional metropolitan and interstate markets with the construction of the Western Sydney Orbital route through Blacktown.
In the past few decades, Blacktown has been transformed from a rural hinterland to the heart of Sydney’s booming Greater West region.
