At the crossroads of Highways 7 and 22, surrounded by gently rolling farm lands and with the Rocky Mountains to the west as a back drop, is the town of Black Diamond. The magnificence and extraordinary beauty of the area has been attracting people in search of the unique, friendly atmosphere characteristic of the community. The recreation facilities both in and outside the community allow for a variety of activities. The proximity to Kananaskis Country, Sandy McNabb Recreation Area, Bar U Historical Site and the Bow Crow Forestry Reserve provide residents and tourists with a year-round outdoor playground.
