Bermbach Tourist Information
During the division of the feudal community Benshausen in 1274 Bermbach was mentioned for the first time. The forest community was created by woodcutters and charcoal burners, whose traditions are kept alive by the annual "Wood-Stack Fetsival" (last weekend in July). During the end of the 19th, beginning 20th century metal industry started to be introduced to this region, and is still characteristic for the villages in this district.
