Banova Jaruga Tourist Information

A railway junction near Kutina, where the railroad to Virovitica via Pakrac and Daruvar branches off from the main railroad Zagreb - Slavonski Brod - Vinkovci. In the vicinity are the Pakra, the Ilova and the Lonja rivers and a number of fishponds. Very close is also Lonjsko Polje Nature Park. Major tourist attractions are hunting, angling and visits to Lonjsko Polje.

BANOVA JARUGA, a village at the border between Moslavina and western Slavonia, not far from the confluence of the Pakra and the Ilova, 9 km southeast of Kutina; elevation 90 m; population 743. Economy is based on farming. Banova Jaruga is located near the main road (M1, E70) Zagreb - Lipovac, i.e. on the regional road Kutina - Novska; an important railway junction.
