Bankstown
Bankstown is a city full of history. Its original inhabitants were the Aboriginal people known as the Eora. Their land bordered that of the Dharawal and Darug Aboriginal people. At the time they lived as traditional owners of the land, the Aboriginal people of Australia were amongst the most culturally and linguistically diverse people of the world. About 1000 Aboriginal people now live in Bankstown.
