Badra Tourist Information

Badra is situated in the area of the northern edge of the Thuringian Basin. This Community is situated in the north-east foothills of the blunter region of the Windleite range. The village nestles in an erosion valley of the Badra brook. Most striking in the Badra landscape are a group of lime trees, which have been continuously mentioned in historical sources. In the medieval period, and even around 1700 the lime trees nearby Badra are mentioned whenever Badra itself is mentioned. Badra is a purely agricultural village and belongs to the Municipality of Kyffhäuser, with centre in Bendeleben.
