Auerstedt Tourist Information

On its surrounding fields one of the most famous battles of the Napoleon battles took place. The palace of Auerstedt was used as headquarter for the Prussian-Saxon army in 1806. Since Easter 1998 you can visit the unique “living” architectural monument “Auerworld Palace”, made of willow rods. The use of this Auerworld Palace for regular full-moon festivals is a true enrichment to the cultural offers of our region.
