Altendambach Tourist Information

First mentioned in 1390 the people of Altendambach used to be traditional forest craftsmen – charcoal burners, pitch makers, basket frame makers, wood cutters, basket makers, and also gun smiths. Altendambach has been part of the vicarage St Kilian since 1570 and a holiday resort since 1976. Since 1991 it is part of the enlarged Municipality St Kilian. Leisure: Wooded surroundings allow beautiful strolls through extensive deciduous and coniferous woodland.
