Alder Flats Alberta Tourist Information

This quaint hamlet, descriptively named after the trees in the area, is home to about 115 residents. Em-Te Town, the local privately built ghost town offers a look back to a frontier town. Horseback riding and sleigh rides can also be enjoyed. Campsites and cabins are available in the area. Alder Flats is located approximately 32 km (20 mi.) south of Drayton Valley in West-central Alberta.
