In the second half 13. Century created the Schauenburger count many farmer villages. At that time probably also the village Woldenhorn developed. Together with the villages Ahrensfelde, Meilsdorf and Beimoor came it 1327 by an exchange of territory of the counts von Schauenburg to the Cistercian monastery pure field. The village Woldenhorn was from 1327 to approximately 1550 seat of the Klostervogtei. 1441 bought the monastery the village Buenningstedt in addition.
