Acadia Valley Alberta Tourist Information

While this hamlet name finds its roots with Maritime settlers, a distinctly Western flavor is pervasive in Acadia Valley. The Prairie Elevator Museum built in a former Alberta Wheat Pool Elevator, teaches of grain delivery, storage and shipping. For those more interested in surf than turf, rainbow trout fishing in the Acadia Valley Municipal Dam is an excellent choice. Acadia Valley hosts some unique community vents such as the Sausage Fry in October and the annual Canada Sports Day on Jul. 1.
