Bever tourist information
Bever is particularly welcoming to families and guests who wish to spend their holidays in a small, well-preserved and typical village in the heart of the Upper Engadine.
Guests will find the total spectrum of accommodation options in Bever: hotels, pensions, holiday apartments, private rooms and even group accommodation. You'll be able to enjoy the peace and tranquillity the village offers, but still remain within easy striking distance of the Upper Engadine's world-renowned sports and cultural centres.
Bever is the starting point for many beautiful rambles. Enjoy the many drawn-out walks the region offers. Or, what about a horse-drawn carriage ride into the car-free Val Bever with its splendid larch and stone-pine forests?
In winter, a selection of well-groomed trails await cross-country skiers of all abilities. For example, trails that reach into the Bevertal and finish at Spinas, as well as ones that circumnavigate the village and connect with the marathon cross-country trail. But non-skiers are also catered for: well-tended walking paths exist in the vicinity of the village. The village also has its own illuminated natural skating rink which is free for all guests to use. No doubt, you'll also discover the opportunity to indulge in your favourite sports pursuit close by. A large range of sports facilities is situated within a few kilometres of the village and these can all be reached conveniently by car, rail and "sports bus".
