Welcome to the Tryp Gran Via Hotel in Madrid - The hotel is situated in the heart of the city close to the Puerta Del Sol and Plaza Mayor, it is an ideal base from which to discover the monuments of Madrid.
All rooms are not very large, but simply and tastefully decorated. They are equipped with basic modern facilities. The bathrooms are well maintaining and clean.
Buffet breakfast is available and there is a cafe bar, famous for where Ernest Hemingway wrote his account of the Spanish Civil war in 1936.
There is a public car park nearby with spaces for 500 cars. Excellent location within walking distance to main shopping areas and near to the 3 famous museums El Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen.
