The Royal Hotel description
THE ROYAL HOTEL stands in the centre of town close to the harbour and ferry terminal. Its central position makes it ideal for visiting the West Coast of Scotland as well as the Islands of Mull and Iona. Built in 1895 the 3 Star AA awarded hotel offers traditional Scottish hospitality within quality modern surroundings. A small car park is located to the rear of the hotel.
As part of our ongoing refurbishment plans the Royal Hotel boasts around 40 recently refurbished rooms (2004) With entirely new fixtures and fittings the rooms reflect our comitment to your comfort and our dedication to providing you with pleaseant surroundings in which to enjoy your stay.
The Royal Hotel has a variety of accommodation to suit any need.
In total we have 91 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone, hospitality tray, hairdryers and central heating. There is a lift to all floors.
