Naarden tourist information
When you approach the town of Naarden, you can see the incredible architectural layout of the fortifications. Naarden is a 17th century-fortified town with a design so beautiful it takes your breath away. It is easy to picture yourself in the 17th or 18th century when you drive or walk through the small city streets lined with remarkable mansions and houses. There are historic monuments galore, such as the Utrecht Gate (1870), Arsenal (1688), not to mention the lovely Town Hall (1601), Saint Vitus Church (15th century) and the Spanish House (1615).
