Comment: I am still in awe of the service at this hotel. Details are their specialty. Exceptionally clean, good food, wonderful service. Everyone is so warm and friendly. It's been a long time since I came back from vacation feeling this good. I would definetely go back. This is one place you can leave your 9 to 5 life at the door.

Comment: Oceanfront suite was worth the money....don't get lagoon view. Tip the waiters/bartenders; they will take GOOD care of you. Bartenders will make your drinks from scratch with the premium alcohol instead of the premixed stuff. Definitely make reservations for the Italian restaurant. Food is excellent and a great change from the buffet. Hang out at the Lobby Bar at night. It's open til midnight and airconditioned!!! Staff were all friendly and helpful!!!

Comment: Before booking we had mixed feelings due to some of the not so great reviews. We had no big complaints. This hotel is great value - fantastic beach, staff were very friendly and food was great - but my wife complained that she gained 6lbs! The buffet is just as good as the Italian restaurant. We booked a Presidential Suite with jaccuzi which was worth the money, especially having a teenage daughter with us. The only downside -the room was advertised as ocean view, but the room we got was at the back with a poor logoon view and limited view of the ocean from the side windows.

Comment: Everything was great with the service staff, food, drinks, accessable to buses, taxis, and shopping. Beach was awesome. Downside: THE ROOM, noisey, no remote control for TV, when another room shut their door sounded like a cannon going off.

Comment: The newly redone Park Royal is a site for post-Wilma eyes. It is nicely decorated, bright, clean, and well-appointed. Food in the buffet dining is better than the upscale restaurant Be sure to ASK for bacon at breakfast. Service from everyone except the front desk was good. Water is safe. We had an oceanview, hot-tub(Presidential suite). Large rooms- should not have also booked a studio for the kids, as there would have been plenty of room in ours (2 double beds + a double murphy bed in living area). Can't wait to see how the Park Royal Cozumel comes out!

Comment: Very nice, very clean rooms. I never saw a dirty spot in the hotel. Guests should DEFINETLY make reservations at the nicer restaurant for dinnner- it is worth it. Bartenders were cool. The food in the casual dining room is very average. Don't use the room phones, they rip you off. There always seemed to be someone drilling or grinding on some part of the building, they should work on maintenance during off peak hours. Overall good hotel I would go back to.

Comment: We just got back from 5 days at this hotel. everything was good, though the food was only ok. there were alot of families there, which would have been better if we were with a family too, but overall it was good.

Comment: We just returned from our Honeymoon. Had a wonderful time! Tip the pool bartenders and they will remember you. Watch yourself at the Flea market if you go(I wouldn't again), they will rip you off. Can get the same things across the street at the mall for half the price. Great Pools and Beach area.

Comment: We went last year sept. and it coulnd't have been better excpt the beds. The beach was amazing and so clean (i actually got engaged on that beach) i would return, We are going to the RIU cancun this year because thats where our wedding will be next year but for the money the park royal was worth it

Comment: accommodations. No luck. Wanted a queen or king sized bed. No luck. No coffee maker or hairdryer in room. Shower head bad.

Comment: Hotel was clean, the servers were friendly, the people at the front desk were cold and unwelcoming, you needed to slip the guy cash for upgrade. Food was okay, little assortment, but was good. The suite was supposed to have kitchenette, only had fridge and nothing else. All-inclusive??? No room service! They gave you a hard time if you wanted to take food up to your room. Make sure you have your final meal before you check out because once you pay your bill, you're not allowed anything. We asked if we could have lunch first and they said as they snipped off the bands, "No, time's up".
